SPRING 2024 REGISTRATION IS LIVE!
We are thrilled to announce registration for our Haverford Blaze Spring 2024 season is now LIVE!
We are looking forward to another great season and cannot wait to get back on the field! The Blaze offer playing opportunities for Boys (Grades K-8) and Girls (Grades (5-8) players of ALL skill levels. Beginners are strongly encouraged to join!

Cost
- Boys (Grades 3-8) and Girls (5-8): $215
- Boys House Clinic (Grades K-2): $100
Boys (Grades 3-8th) & Girls (Grades 5-8th) Travel Program Details:
These teams play against other township programs within our PAGLA (girls) and SEPYLA (boys) division.
Practice Schedule
Practices begin in very late February or early March. Most teams practice two to three days a week, and the practices last from 1.5 to 2 hours.
Home Games
Most home games will be played at The Haverford Reserve field. They will be scheduled on weekends beginning the last weekend in March.
Away Games
Away games are usually played within a 10-mile radius of Havertown. However, some away games are played in Northern Delaware and Bucks County.
Equipment
Boy Players need to provide their own equipment which includes stick, helmet, arm guards, shoulder pads, gloves, athletic cup/supporter, and a mouthpiece.
Girl Players need to provide their own equipment which includes stick, SEI certified goggles, and a mouthpiece.
Uniforms
Team store is open all year round - order your uniforms from the link here or on the navigation bar.
Important Note: You don't need to buy a new jersey every year, if it still fits, keep using it! You may use black shorts in place of the official Blaze shorts.
Evaluation Dates

Saturday February 24th
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (see below for gender and age specific times)
All Boys (Grades 3-8) and Girls (Grades 5-8) Blaze travel players should plan on attending the evaluation session.
As a reminder, there are NO CUTS for the Blaze and these evaluations are used to place players on the appropriate Blaze teams based on skill level.

Boys Clinic (Grades K-2)
Our Boys K-2 Clinic is an in-house program that is a great opportunity young player to learn fundamentals. Includes age-appropriate skill-building drills and scrimmages. This program requires full protective equipment, which includes a helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, cup, stick, mouthpiece, and cleats.

Practices begin in late March and we will typically practice 1-2 times per week.

Haverford Blaze Lacrosse
Haverford Blaze Lacrosse serves boys from Kindergarten through Eighth grade and girls from Fifth through Eighth grade who reside in Haverford Township School District.
We have a house league for boys and travel lacrosse programs for boys and girls. See the descriptions below and you can find more information on our team pages.
Boys In-House Programs:
No tryouts necessary for our in-house programs, just register to reserve your spot.
K-2 Clinic: a place for young players to learn fundamentals. Includes age-appropriate skill-building drills and scrimmages.
This program requires full protective equipment.
Boys Travel Programs:
This travel program is for residents of Haverford Township School District who are in the 3rd through 8th grades. We will offer several travel programs at the 3/4 grade level, 5/6 grade level, and 7/8 grade level that play against other township programs within our SEPYLA (South) division. We have evaluations that we ask all players to attend, typically in mid/late November. There are NO CUTS, all players are placed on teams based on ability and where they have the most potential for success.
This program requires full protective equipment.
Girls Travel Programs:
This travel program is for girls who are in the 5th through 8th grades who reside in Haverford Township School District. We offer several travel teams at the 5/6 grade level and 7/8 grade level that play against other township programs within our PAGLA (Central West) division. We have evaluations that we ask all players to attend, typically in late November. There are NO CUTS, all players are placed on teams based on ability and where they have the most potential for success.
This program requires full protective equipment.
Girls In-House Programs:
Haverford Township Parks and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive instructional program that combines skill development, game strategy and league play for girls who are in the 2nd through 4th grades. For more information please visit their web site.
